Wagga Community Band director, Ben Fixter, will oversee the creation of a Beginner's Band which is open to all students and adults who would like to take up the challenge of learning a musical instrument.

The learner's band will cater to beginners on percussion, all styles of wind instruments including clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone and more.

We are hoping to expand our ranks in the future. The beginner and concert bands are open to all ages and skill levels, rehearsing each Thursday at South Wagga Public School Hall with the Beginner's Band starting at 5.30pm and the Concert Band at 6.15pm.
